The meeting place for the hydrogen supply chain
The decarbonisation trend and the transition to a hydrogen economy are affecting the entire energy supply system, putting pressure on all industries – and the polymer market is no exception. “Polymers in Hydrogen and CCUS Infrastructure” explores the polymer requirements and solutions for a new era of the hydrogen economy.
Taking place on 10-11 February 2026, in Vienna, Austria, this two-day event provides a unique platform for leading experts from across the globe to openly discuss, learn, and exchange ideas, and to explore optimal solutions for utilising polymers in the energy infrastructure of the future.
Program
Suzanne Laik, Senior Expert in Polymers and Composite Materials, will host a conference on “Polymer and composite qualification for high-pressure hydrogen service : methodology and results towards material selection”
Abstract :
– Material behaviour and failure modes under hydrogen environment : a state-of-the-art towards material selection
– Qualification methodology : find our way within the existing normative scope
– An experimental study to assess polyamide-based polymers and composite behaviour under high pressure hydrogen static, cyclic and RGD conditions : influence of the environment upon mechanical, physico-chemical and permeation properties
The conference will take place on February 10, 2026, at 2:20 p.m.
Our team will also be present at a booth to meet with you, discuss your technical issues, and answer your questions…
Cetim supports mechanical companies, their customers, and the entire industry in meeting the challenges of mastering the technological and economic issues related to hydrogen.
This support covers the entire value chain of the sector: production, storage, transport, distribution, and end uses.
