An innovative approach coupled with the ability to supply detailed results analysis helped Cetim win a contract to carry out fatigue tests on some 300 welded test pieces, as part of the OWA FaWS project.
Corin Group commissioned experts to carry out several numerical simulations paired with load tests in order to validate the fatigue strength of its new hip implants from the design stage, and was therefore able to go directly from prototype to series production.

Oneortho Medical has had its unicompartmental knee prostheses characterised.
The aim was to check the fatigue and wear resistance of the chromium-cobalt and polypropylene components of the prostheses before their release to the market.
The car manufacturer Renault chose to entrust to Cetim the analysis of residual stresses introduced by a shot-peening process on the gearing components of its gear boxes. Control is carried out in a continuous way by taking samples from the production lines. A collaboration based on deadlines respect and service quality which allows Cetim to intervene for three european factories of the group.
